Also, we were unable to find much information about NIFT startups on the official website. It was nice discussing with you, and it has brought much-needed clarity about the collaboration between NIFT and IIT M.

The jist of the discussion is as below:
1. IITM is one of the knowledge partners for Bharat Tex 2025 and shall be organizing several activities, including the start-up pitch fest.
2. The focus of the Start-up Pitch fest will be the textile field, including its subdomains as textile manufacturing, non-wovens, apparel manufacturing, retail, fashion business, etc.
3. The Start-up Pitch Fest shall showcase 20 selected start-ups from the textile field at the Bhart Tex 2025. The selection shall be done from all the registered start-ups for this event.
4. IIT M shall be inviting venture capitalists, investors, and other funding agencies as well to support the early-stage start-ups.
5. A report on the start-up status in the field of textiles shall be launched by IIT M.

Requirements/support needed from NIFT:
Wider publicity for this event
Nominating one expert from NIFT as one of the jury member for the start-up selection
Using NIFT Logo (as a partner to this event) for the IIT M start-up pitch fest at Bharat Tex.
Please let me know if any point is missed out or to be added. As far as confirmations to the requirements are concerned, I shall get back to you soon after consultation with NIFT authorities.
