Hello Mr. Bhaskar,

I am a NIFT alumni and used to also be a visiting faculty at NIFT Gandhinagar from 1999-2004. 

I spoke with Kalpeshbhai this morning and he recommended I email you. 

We are Tinkara, a multi-brand retail business with stores in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

We are looking for a merchandise/store manger for our Ahmedabad location.

Requirement:

1. Should be able to take care of multi-brand merchandise management, both with brand as well as within stores. 

2. Take lead responsibility of the Ahmedabad store with regards to sales, customer relationships, orders, brand communication and overall smooth running of the retail space. 

3. Stock and sale reconciliation, sales tracking, etc..

We would ideally like a female candidate. 

If the candidate is a fresher, she will not get a managerial position immediately. She will need to start with being a sales assistant as well as merchandise assistant on the floor. 

If the candidate comes with experience, retail experience is preferable. 

Please note: there is no design work involved, so we would not want candidates who aspire to design.
