Dearest Alumni,
Greetings!
The year 2019-2020 holds a special place in all our hearts. I think many of you may not be aware that NIFT Chennai is in its 25th year of inception this year! We started in July,1995 from Co-Optex complex in a humble way and are now a 1200 strong and vibrant campus.
To commemorate this special memory in NIFT Chennai`s history, we have been organizing many events throughout the year like the first ever Ganesh Chaturthi celebration ,the absolutely unique teacher`s day celebrations; the first ever Swapshop event ,followed by the Grandest ever Onam celebration, the magnificent Diwali/Dussehra celebrations and an extra special first time ever Christmas celebration with a huge Christmas tree. We also had a Halloween theme based Interdepartmental event followed by a horror movie night (Trick or Treat) complete with Popcorns!!!!!
Now, we are planning for an extraordinary Spectrum 2020, where all of you are special invitees. Spectrum is planned for three days- Feb 13th ,14th and 15th. Feb 13th is the unique “Inclusive spectrum”, where, in the first half of the day, we bring together special children from chosen schools in and around Chennai into our campus and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and to participate in our joy.
The Alumni Get together is being planned from 3 p.m on 13th February, with fun, entertainment and games for you and ending with an exceptional event for the evening, Stand-up Comedy Show by Kenny Sebastian.
