For blue led's you have 4 on one side and one on the other that indicates its
powered on. Is the single blue led lit? Is the red LED on the board lit?
If the single blue LED isn't on I would check voltages. See if you have 12V
on the 4 pin power connector. Check the point labeled 5V on the mfm board.
There is another spot labled gnd. Check the spot labled 3.3V. The 3.3V is
provided by the beaglebone.
If the single LED is on hit the reset switch. What do the 4 LEDs do?
Can also power board off and when single LED off apply power and see what
the 4 LEDs do.
