I have been using one of these with my Rainbow 100A as the hard drive.  I imaged it quite some time back and it's been working fine.  Tonight I was trying to play with Kermit to try to transfer some files.  Kermit runs on both ends, but can't quite get it to transfer.  So I shut the machine down.  A few hours later I had some new ideas and went to boot the Rainbow and the HD is reported as not formatted.  And no blue lights are flashing on the BBB.  What do I do to fix this and what might have caused it?  TIA.

For blue led's you have 4 on one side and one on the other that indicates its
powered on. Is the single blue led lit? Is the red LED on the board lit?

If the single blue LED isn't on I would check voltages. See if you have 12V
on the 4 pin power connector. Check the point labeled 5V on the mfm board.
There is another spot labled gnd. Check the spot labled 3.3V. The 3.3V is
provided by the beaglebone.

If the single LED is on hit the reset switch. What do the 4 LEDs do?
Can also power board off and when single LED off apply power and see what
the 4 LEDs do.

I tried it again a few hours later and the blue lights blink.  I am at a loss on what was happening.  The green LED was on so there was power.  But no blue blinky lights.  Had it
not shut down fully?  I have the fill jumper set.  And I think mine has a Beagle Bone Green (not Black).  This is the Decromancer board BTW.  Never had an issue with it till then.
Probably operator error of some sort.

Ok, but I am pretty sure this happened because I turned the machine off and then back on quite soon after.  Maybe the board had not finished shutting down.
