Job Summary: Major Responsibilities: - Perform business analysis and project management to understand the requirements for IT projects that help to improve efficiency for new and existing applications related to the Operations department.
- Identify, document and manage risks. Recognize issues and proactively create solutions to mitigate adverse impacts.
- Identify, document and remediate gaps in processes and ensure the alignment of IT department with internal guidelines and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor or master’s degree in STEM fields, MBA, or related discipline(s).
- 10-15 years’ work experience with IT, process re-engineering, or IT consulting background.
- Programming, business analysis, project/program management background.
- Liaison with vendors, service providers, technical and functional teams, users, and management.
- Hands-on performing gap analysis, managing data, and guiding other resources.
- Process mapping/ process improvement experience. Quick learner of new technologies, tools, platforms, and flows.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, data loads and processing, and messaging.
- SQL query knowledge and programming background.
- Experience working with financial services firms, market participants, or equivalent.
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, self-directed individuals with the ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
- Effective presentation skills, combined with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Collaborative team player and relationship builder.
