Data Scientist (with Machine Learning Exp)

Location: Remote 

Duration: 6+ months

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in driving innovation and solving critical business problems by applying your machine learning expertise. In this role, you will focus on [Specify area of focus within Machine Learning, e.g., natural language processing, computer vision, recommender systems, etc.].

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into machine learning problems.
• Acquire, clean, and prepare data for machine learning model development.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models (including [mention specific algorithms relevant to the focus area]) to solve business problems.
• Experiment with different machine learning techniques and algorithms to optimize model performance.
• Evaluate and validate model performance using appropriate metrics to ensure accuracy, generalizability, and fairness.
• Interpret model results and translate them into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain robust machine learning pipelines to automate model training and deployment (Preferred).
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in machine learning research and best practices.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document your work clearly and concisely for future reference and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of demonstrably successful experience as a Data Scientist or a related role.
• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (Preferred).
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts (supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning).
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms relevant to the focus area (e.g., NLP, computer vision, recommender systems).
• Proficiency in Python programming with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for deploying machine learning models (Preferred).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
