FYI-

The former Chase Bank branch located at 215 East 38th Street has been purchased by new owners including Bill Oesterle of Angie’s List fame. Dubbed “The National” (after the ____? National Bank that previously occupied the building) the space is well-suited to serve as an event center…and there is also a large basement that could potentially serve community uses. The owners are seeking to rezone the property to MU2 (they have agreed to disallow liquor store, bar/tavern, laundromat, and pawn shop uses which are normally allowed under MU2 zoning) with the goal of attracting a restaurant tenant.
