Dear all,

I am trying to run the latest compiled 1.0.1 linux version (montreal-forced-aligner_linux.tar.gz) in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
After unzipping, I cd-ed into the folder and run "bin/mfa_align".

The error I got was '[19284] Error loading Python lib '/my/path/montreal-forced-aligner/lib/libpython3.6m.so': dlopen: /my/path/montreal-forced-aligner/lib/libpython3.6m.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'

Looking forward to hearing from the developers or anyone who can help!

Best,
Hang

I encountered the same thing, but the fix is simple:
cd montreal-forced-aligner/lib
ln -s libpython3.6m.so.1.0 libpython3.6m.so
