Hi, I’m just learning how to use this forced aligner.

When I try to generate the example Chinese dictionary, I get the following:

I haven't been able to find any solutions to this elsewhere online. Any ideas?

It seems that the wav files you have aren't actually wav files.  Could you try using the files here: http://mlmlab.org/mfa/CH_g2p_exmaple.zip and see if that works?

Thanks!

Also, looking over the g2p example, I realized that it was slightly outdated for the released version.  The new version of the page should work better: http://montreal-forced-aligner.readthedocs.io/en/latest/dictionary_generating.html. Let me know if you have any questions about it!

Hey,

I faced similar problem, but without any information why the algorithm generate empty dictionary file (0kB). The lab file is generated from .txt file and include simple text only. Could you help me finding the solution?

Best!
