Thesis Retreat?

Hello team,
With all this thesis work going on, I think we could use a break. I
have a very generous friend who owns a beautiful house/cabin in the
woods of upstate New York and has previously let me stay there. I was
thinking, perhaps we could all go up there for a weekend? There are
three main bedrooms and lots of other space that people could sleep in
if we brought an airbed or two. It's a large house.
This could either be a retreat away from thesis, a complete escape. Or
the opposite, a thesis-focused weekend with nothing to distract.
Here's are the dates that could possibly work. If you are interested
please reply to me putting an X next to the date. If you don't reply
by Friday of this week, I'll assume you're not interested in coming,
which is cool.

Nov 24 - Thanksgiving
[ ] Dec 1
[ ] Dec 8
It would be free for us to stay if we leave money for the cleaner (i
think this is $100). It's about a 2.5 hour drive from the city. I was
thinking we'd go from Friday – Sunday. If anyone has a car and could
drive, that'd be a real bonus. Let me know!

I'm not sure on early November for baby birth. the other days all fine.

I'm ok any time except Thanksgiving. I can also offer up Zipcar service if people would be willing to split the cost.

I'm in for any weekend. If possible I'd like to participate in the Visualize marathon challenge on Nov 10 weekend.
But only if possible. If that weekend ends up being the only weekend everyone else wants to go. I don't mind skipping that. :)

Thanks for getting back to me. The consensus is as follows: Nov 10 followed by Dec 1. (Sorry Paparachi). I'm going to get in touch with my friend now to check feasibility of those dates. I'll be in touch with news soon.
