Jai Ganesha, Jai Melbourne Friends,

 

Congratulations on another success year of Ganeshothsva celebrations!

With the Grace of Lord Ganesha,  the service from volunteers and Friends of Melbourne who come together for this Religious, social cultural event each year is commendable.

 

A lot of the members and non-members have advised me to be part of this committee, with respect and gratitude I thank them sincerely.

Hope I can provide feedback to the committee, taking this privilege for being part of MFA Friends group.

 

Have an educational session for kids, Eg: what this making of Ganesha idol and submerge in the ocean means. By posters on wall ,etc (many adults also will benefit). I saw there were very good books/packs distributed to participating kids this year.

 

Communication with the crowd is essential part of such a large event. This was lacking and the reason for confusion that crowd prematurely got up for Aarthi and Prasad.

Possibly come up with some interactive programs with the audience – This will be thoroughly enjoyed.

 

Many were disappointed without the Raffle! It may not be a big fund raiser but is an attractive event and brings some excitement and life to the evening! Request to bring this back next year possibly in a new form!

 

If the members agree, I look forward to be part of this great team again next year in 2017.

Hope there will be new thoughts, fresh ideas by all members for a rejuvenated 2017 MFA Ganeshothsva 2017.

Dear Vidyashankar, 

Once again With lot of Vigna's Ganesha, helped us to deliver a good show. 

I am sorry for not being full in this year event or committee due to personal commitments. 

I do not have anything to say as everywhere I have only one thing to say, people come to 

MFA event is because of Bhakti and energy. 

So, keeping the less cultural events and promote bhakti and Gyana. 

Already our booklet is has done it and same way our event should showcase. 

- my view for next year is,

- cultural event next year should be more interactive not just dance and singing.

Songs should be chorus or sing along.

- People come to see Ganesha and we do not give them time to appreciate our Pooje and only 

Think about artists. 

Rest all went well and Great effort from Catering department for smooth op. 

Will see you all in the next year with more commitment and pray my Ganesha to give health and wealth to all.
