Hi Friends

Ravi kesh spoke to Ravichandra regarding the groceries sponsored to MFA, he said okay to provide, as usual.

But he isn't very happy that we refused to let him display the banners in the hall.

He mentioned that, If we don't allow to display the banners inside the hall, then he will rethink sponsoring the groceries to MFA.

Please think about his issue and come to a right conclusion ASAP.

My suggestion  is we can re- think and if majority agrees, we can allow a standard size to display on only one side of the hall with their responsibility in putting & removing themselves.

If Ravi MLA does not to sponsoring the groceries due to the banner issue

I myself from now on will continuous to take the groceries sponsor for future

I do not need any advertisement 

because putting the banners look ugly and also time consumption and removing that is another headache

If we all agree for Ravi MLA other people will ask too the banner

If everyone say OK I take this opportunity for sponsor groceries to our lord Ganesha

Ravichandra replied (through text message) as below.

Dear Ravi Kesh

Thanks for your information.

Melbourne friends association should have set some standards for the banners display and notified all the sponsors last year for this year's program.

Only the sponsors that meet your standards should be able to display inside the hall and the sponsors that do not meet them will be displayed outside.

So I have decided to donate to an orphanage, old age home or to disadvantaged children in India.

Thanks Murthy for the updates on one of the sponsor, it is sad to see them go however in my opinion that is the decision sponsors make depending on their circumstances we should respect and let it go.  

Also in my opinion Ravi Kesh has to email or text the sponsor thanking him for all the support in the past but since the committee had made the decision we all have to stand by it, can't allow any poster in side hall.  Ask if they are happy to pay for the ad if ok continue with the ad if not we may have to reduce one page to make it sustainable.  

Also immaterial of whether any sponsor supports us or not let us welcome all to come to the event and participate as devotees of Lord Ganesha.

For the teams information there was another sponsor who was giving a full page ad for long time but since he did not agree on the price last year we had removed his ad from the book.  This year he don't want to miss out and he is back on board and ad already forwarded to Sugu and he will be paying the money as decided by the committee. 

So Committee decisions have to honored by all unless it is an extreme circumstance we should not change what decisions are made in the committee.  These sort of variations are reality of life, so let us not keep any hard feelings and move on doing our sincere service to Lord Ganesha.
