Hi All,

For some reasons, the onsite edit function disappeared. I mean when I view the site after edit a page from admin, the edit button is missing. In order to edit the page I have to type /admin/ on the url to get into edit page.

Can any one has similar experience help me on this?

Thanks,

Xin

Hi Xin,

Make sure you did not remove the `editable` template tag from the template.

Django-debug-toolbar is highly recommended for your local development environment. The "Templates" tab will show you the order of the template loading and the source code for each template.

best,
ken

Hey Xin, definitely check out what Ken said.  Also, this happened to me once and I eventually realized I had left out the footer scripts include at the bottom of base.html.  Make sure it's there!

Hi Ken and Josh,

Thank you very much!

I finally find the causes ---- I installed Mezzanine-slides and changed the base.html.

Many thanks,

Xin
