Hello,

I wonder if there is an easy way to modify comment's submission date?

In the admin there is option for modifying post's date, but nothing for
the comments.

WP has such option which might be handy...especially since we do not
know how good is import from WP and whether importer preserves those
comment dates.

Sincerely,
Gour

Sounds like something you should not need to do on an adhoc basis.

Surely you would perform (if at all) a bulk update at the DB level
after an import from wordpress, once only; not an admin user manually
updating?

I personally would not welcome a change that allowed editing of submit
timestamps - I see this as important audit information.

Regards,
Gary

Of course.

It seems you're not a git user. ;)

Totally agree with Gary. If the dates aren't importing correctly from WP then it's an importer issue.

The importer from the master works well, but we still have feature
request for the site we'd like to import (from Concrete5) into
Mezzanine for which there is no importer available (there is even no
export available for C5's ProBlog package)?

Gour

Would you be interested in working on this and contributing it back? Each of the importers were written by someone who had a direct need for them at the time. If you'd like to work on this one it'd be a welcome addition.

Sure...if I manage to somehow export data from the blog. Moreover, none
of the blog add-ons have some 'export' feature, although there is
importer from WP from ProBlog which might be studied for the beginning.

OK...let's see where we'll arrive.
