Road Trip Report:

A few of us got together for an incredible yarn tour of Brown Sheep
Mill in Nebraska!  Biggest hand yarn spinning mill in US!
Support this local mill, local wool, and family owned company!! Help
them stay in business by using their yarn! We brought home much Lambs
Pride Superwash Bulky and Burly Spun in solids and handpaints to adorn
our shelves here at the shop! Get yours now! The burly spun is thick
natural yarn, perfect for introducing the wonders of wool and knitting
to our kids!

Mew Mew's is honored to host "Suffrage In Stitches" trunk show and talk
by Katherine Durack, PhD.
2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of the ratification of Amendment
19. To honor this and raise awareness, crochet designer and former
college professor Katherine Durack has launched Suffrage in Stitches, a
multiyear project celebrating the connection betwen crochet and women's
suffrage. Join us and learn about..

*Amazing women who fought for the right to vote

*curious connections between crochet and woman suffrage

* How you can commemorate the movement with crochet

Event is Free, Donations welcome

Katherine will have her original crochet patterns for sale.

Coming up...summer hours

Summer hours will commense on Sat. July 1 and run through Friday August
18th. Sue will be out hiking the Colorado Trail at that time. Julie,
Colette, and Jill will be running the shop sneeking in all kinds of
things on sale while Sue is away.
