For live there isn't anything that requires changes.
For MoP it depends on if people feel like looking at class mechanics
or not, since I will more than likely not (It's been over a year since
I've had an active WoW account, and I have no particular desire to
ever play WoW again.). I have no problem with maintaining the
infrastructure code but, unless the changes required for the Cat/Bear
models are researched/documented by someone that's not me, it's
questionable as to if I will bother once MoP is out.
TLDR: Depends on if Tangedyn feels like taking a more active role in
development or not.
