Hi, friends:
Hope tank is on for this week in Petaluma. (215 Water Street). Meditation from 8:30-9:00 am, discussion from 9-10:45 ish. Bring something to share for breakfast, and bring a few bucks to share with our hosts for opening their space (water, dish soap, tp, etc.)
I would like to propose that we begin reading a book together. The book I am proposing is by
M.K. Gandhi Nonviolent Resistance (Satyagraha). The reason is so that everyone on this list (in other parts of the world), can easily follow along with us, and we can draw from Michael's scholarship on Gandhi to guide us when we encounter difficulties or need deeper guidance.
We can read the copy I have together to start off the discussion this Friday, and then if you like it, we can all agree to get copies of the book or share, or whatever works.
Objections?
Warm regards, Stephanie
