good news

Hi friends,

Finally, I too have a good news to share. 

My Sannyasa has been confirmed. It will be on the intervening night/morning of 17-18 Feb 2018 at Belur Math.  

Last time, it has been a great gesture from Arun when he came all the way from Jamshedpur to meet me at Belur Math during Brahmacharya ceremony. But unfortunately, I spent very little time due to our tight schedule. I wish to invite everyone of you, but will not be able to spend quality time because of our schedule. But nevertheless, I invite you all. If you plan to come to Belur Math, intimate me in advance so that we will plan together and find a way to meet. 

It has been an incredible support from every one of you and not to mention the help and motivation received from time to time. I need your prayers and well-wishes to continue this journey.

Will your name change after Feb ? What does sanyasa mean here as from what we are aware you have been living a sanyasa life since you joined the mutt. Just few questions came up in my mind :)

Yes the name will change. It will be Swami _____. Not sure what name I will get. Our President of the Order will decide the name. 

Your question is right. I was told when I joined the Order that once you enter this place, you have already become one.

But there is a big difference in terms of mental boost up which comes after Sannyas, thought the lifestyle remains the same. 

So far, the last nine years has been the testing period, tesing my fitness for this life. You are free to leave in this period if it doesn't suit you. But Sannyasa is final and there is no turning back.

And in Sannyas, I have to do Shraddha for myself and literally it means I am dead to the world. These and like ceremonies will strongly boost up things and brings out a new life. 

And it is only after this I will be officially accepted as an accredited Sannyasi in the Sadhu community. 

It's a different journey altogether and the challeges are plenty and I am loving it.
