ENC Charts?

Hi,

I stumbled upon this library and it looks very impressive.  On your site you show a video demoing what I believe to be either DNC's or ENC's being displayed.  I downloaded the full and core 2.2 versions but can't seem to find any exmaples or code hinting at ENCs.  I only see references to RNC's.

I also see references in the forums to ENC's but don't see the classes mentioned in the trunk.  Does the Glimpse API no longer support these features?

The DNC chart video in the Videos Section of the site does demonstrate rendering of Digital Nautical Charts. Unfortunately, the DNC chart dataset isn't publicly available. Because of that, the code to render it hasn't been rolled into a public Glimpse release.

There was support for ENC chart rendering in earlier versions. However, it was written by a contributor that no longer works on the project and hadn't been maintained or updated in a long time, so the decision was made to remove it in the 2.0.0 release. The hope was that the DNC chart rendering capability would replace it, but that has been hindered by the availability of DNC data.

You can download and build the release from GitHub, or download the packaged 1.3.3 release here: http://glimpse.metsci.com/release/full/

So if the nautical chart displays are of particular interest, using 1.3.3 release would be an option. However it's not a great option since that release is a few years old.
