I've posted an announcement "How to be a good Metronaut" to help guide
our community management principles as the site traffic continues to

I am asking all Metronauts blog contributors to take an active role in
enforcing community norms in their posts' comment threads. I have also
implemented a new feature - commenters can now subscribe to comment
threads by email with a simple checkbox.

Please encourage your commenters to read my announcement post and
encourage the use of real names and photo avatars. Making the members
of the online community real people with human faces is the single
biggest thing we can do to encourage mutual respect and civil
dialogue.

Bring to my attention any commenters who are habitually abusive or are
poisoning an open and inclusive dialogue by emailing me at
in...@metronauts.ca.
