I might just shut down the Google Group

We now have ever...@metronauts.ca as our group email address for
contributors, and discussions happen on the blog. Apparently Google
Groups has become an increasingly tempting target for spam.

If I don't hear anything to the contrary from members of this group, I
will kill it off next week.

I say shut'er down. While the analytics are quite interesting, the
spam to useful message ratio is a bit too high for my enjoyment.
