Seeing that we're in startup mode with the new Metronauts.ca group
blog, I thought I would start a thread in the Google Group for blog
contributors - and anyone else who cares - to see how the new site is
doing.

Our formal launch was this Monday, August 18th at 5:00pm via the
newsletter announcement, so I'm looking at traffic since then.

Newsletter Opened: 127
Newsletter Click-thrus: 52
Hits (Monday): 237
Hits (Tuesday): 348
Comments (total): 60
RSS Feed subscribers: 76
Email Feed subscribers: 13
Registered Contributors (since launch): 10

To clarify, registered contributors are new Wordpress accounts
registered since launch on Monday evening. These people MAY become
blog contributors or not, but they are all contacted and invited to be
contributors to the site.

Top Referrers (in order): stevemunro.ca, blogto.com, google.com,
twitter.com, spacing.ca, eloquation.ca (thanks Sameer!), facebook.com,
gttavisions.blogspot.com, metrolinx.com, myttc.ca

Today Metrolinx sent out an email notice to all registered users on
their public consultation site, so we'll see how that affects traffic
in the coming days.

All in all, I think we're off to a very successful start! Keep
blogging!

I should clarify, by "Hits" I mean "Visits". Pageviews are: Monday:
771, Tuesday: 897
