Kevin Beaulieu (Adam G's assistant) brought this event to my
attention. Does anyone want to cover it for Metronauts? Video/photos
would be good to have, and grabbing copies of slides or uploading them
to Slideshare.net would be ideal for a great blog post.

Transit City: Paris, France
Building LRT in a city of subways
Brought to you by the TTC and The Economic Mission of France in
Toronto
Paris is home to one of the world's great subway systems, but in
recent years, it has been building surface light rail transit instead,
with great success. Join us for a presentation about why and how
they're doing it, and how the lessons learned there can help build a
"Transit City" in Toronto.
Presenters from the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP):
Philippe Martin, Vice-President; Remi Feredj, Director of Open Spaces
and Heritage; With an introduction by TTC Chair Adam Giambrone and the
participation of the TTC's Transit City team.
