Saturday, June 6 & 20, 2009, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. a Lay Speaking
Basic Class (first course) and a Preaching Class will be offered at
Oak
Creek Community UMC, 8675 South 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI
53154, by Reverend William R. McBride and Reverend Karen Klatt.
Cost for books and materials is $15.00. Please make checks payable to
Palmyra United Methodist Church. To register, please call the Palmyra
UMC at 262-495-2540.
Please leave your name, contact information,
home church, and whether you will be taking the Basic or Preaching
class. You must be able to attend the entire day of both sessions.
NOTE: Rex Nelson will be substituting for Pastor McBride leading the
Basic Class. Read "Call for Instructors"

The Preaching class is most definitely an advanced class. In fact,
it's an abbreviated seminary curriculum. Only the Basic and Youth
Basic courses are not advanced. All others are advanced.
