Although the intensity of the bombing was not as great as pre-war expectations, thus making an equal comparison impossible, no psychiatric crisis occurred because of the Blitz even during the period of greatest bombing of September 1940. An American witness wrote, "By every test and measure I am able to apply, these people are staunch to the bone and won't quit ... the British are stronger and in a better position than they were at its beginning". People referred to raids as if they were weather, stating that a day was "very blitzy".[71]

Ensure that the Caching Enabled setting is enabled and that the page you are visiting matches an Included URI Pattern (and not an Excluded URI Pattern). Blitz will not cache pages that display the debug toolbar so check that you are not logged in as an admin with the debug toolbar enabled on the front-end. Blitz will also not cache pages that contain asset transform generation URLs, as doing so can lead to cached pages that perform poorly (see this issue). To work around this, you can set the generateTransformsBeforePageLoad config setting to true. Finally, if nothing else seems to be working, setting the debug config setting to true will make Blitz log detailed messages to storage/logs/blitz-*.log which may give you some clues.
When I initialised Blitz settings on the second site, the cache/blitz/sitename folder is written with cached files and when I check the Inspect code on a page via the browser I can see the Blitz comment info added. The blitz.log is also enabled and nothing to report there.
Birmingham was Britain's third most-bombed city, after London and Liverpool. The first major raid took place in August 1940. More followed in September and October. In a raid on 19-20 November 1940, more than 400 tons of high explosive bombs were dropped. One of the city's most important factories, the Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) works, was hit and 53 workers were killed. In a new tactic of hitting towns and cities on consecutive nights, Birmingham was blitzed again on 21-22 and 22-23 November.
Belfast experienced its first air raid 7-8 April 1941. Its docks and shipyards were the primary target, although as in other dockside cities, the residential areas nearby were badly hit. The city was blitzed again on 15 April. The raid lasted for five hours. As fires burned out of control, fire crews were sent both from the Irish Republic and from mainland Britain. By 1944, the official death toll from this raid was 745.
We have 5 sampling instruction training videos (above) that you must watch before the blitz. Sampling supplies will be organized, labeled, and spaced out at the staging locations so that volunteers can quickly, easily, and without contact pick up their assigned supplies.
The sampling blitz will happen over two days- Friday and Saturday. Volunteers can pick the day that works best for their schedule, and chose whether they want to sample in the morning or afternoon. Volunteers can expect this event to take about 3 hours (including supply pick up, sampling, supply drop off) and should schedule accordingly. Sampling can take place in the morning or afternoon, but the equipment needs to be returned by 5pm. The earliest you can pick up supplies is 9am and the latest you can pick up sampling supplies is 2:00pm. The earlier you can arrive, the better. All Friday samplers will pick up supplies at the Lily Nature Center at the Celery Bog (1620 Lindberg Rd, West Lafayette). All Saturday Samplers will pick up supplies at the Tippecanoe Soil and Water Conservation District/USDA parking lot (1812 Troxel Dr, Lafayette).
Blitz is perfect, the teams are generally balanced and you re not facing premades and its give good conquest for winning, its beautiful game mode for bg enjoyers like me (i hate arenas), but after many blitz wins i waited in que for 40 minutes last night, why?
