Hi,
The
'World's Most-Interesting Man' says...........
You are
cordially invited to the Danvers-Wenham SwampWalk Grand
Opening,
Saturday,
May 18 @ 10AM.
We will
convene on the West-Wolniewicz Observation Platform & the
adjacent walkways.
There
will be a ribbon-cutting & a few short speeches.
Additionally, 'work-crew'
chow from Supreme's will be served & guided environmental
tours will be conducted by Wetland Scientists.
In short,
it will be festive & fun for the whole family.
Of
special note, Bob Osgood, currently residing at the Tapley
School, will be there to check-out 'Osgood Island'.
Bob is
mobility impaired but is looking forward to being dropped off
at the Rte 97 parking lot & then being van-transported
down the Rail Trail & then personally-transported onto the
Observation Platform.
If you
are mobility impaired or simply prefer not to walk down the
Rail Trail to get to the Grand Opening, please join Bob.
The van
will make as many trips as there are folks reserving
transportation.
Please
call Susan Fletcher at Danvers Town Hall to make your
van-transportation reservation @ 978-777-0001, ext. 3027.
Susan
will also answer any other inquiries you may have.
The Grand
Opening will be celebrated rain or shine.
