Meteor has a new home.
With some great help from the team at FT Labs, the official transfer was successfully completed over past few months to a new maintainer who extensively uses Meteor for his start-up

Meteor will continue to host under it's original domain
www.meteorserver.org, and as a next step the project will move to
Github where future enhancements will be taken up.
