There hasn't been a release of meteord for over two years, and even
the SVN trunk has been wholly neglected for almost a year.

Is this project dead? Are there any maintainers left at all?

Brian - I am the maintainer of Meteor. I'm afraid I have too much on
in my job to do any development on Meteor right now, and the current
version suits my needs perfectly. I am very open to new developers
coming on board if you're interested in doing some work on the
project.

Hi Andrew-

I'm still using Meteor as the backend for the Deacon open-source Android push notifications library. It has been working well so far, and Deacon's adopters are reporting good results.

I haven't looked on the website lately - is there any sort of roadmap for Meteor that shows its current state and goals? This would be a useful place to collect user requests and siphon their implementation to people like me, others in the Deacon project, and interested parties like Brian...

Best Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Good to hear it's going well. I think what you're suggesting is a great idea, and I think the issue tracker on the google code project is probably the best place to put desired features.

I have no objection at all to new features getting developed - it'd be great to have other developers involved and when I have a spare minute I'd love to get back into it myself.

Have a great christmas.

Andrew
