I just bundled up Meteor 0.6.3 :-). I'm getting a bit of weird behaviour though so I just want to be sure the right version is bundled.

How would I determine what the meteor version is using client side/server side code?

Would it be weird If I said that gives me 'undefined'? (btw I've deployed via meteorite) Is this normal?

Meteorite doesn't use the normal Meteor release infrastructure, so it
acts just like it's running out of a checkout, where there is no
release version.

I believe that when Tom finds some time (obviously the book release is
pretty time consuming!) he is planning to bring Meteorite up to date
with the changes in 0.6.0 and later so that Meteorite just runs a
normal released Meteor instead of from a checkout.

Yes I guess this is true because meteorite considers it to be a checkout version & meteor's version data isn't hard coded into the files

Looks like we posted at the same time! Hopefully he gets some time to bring it up to date, but its not really too much of an issue. Something went wrong somewhere and I had to reupdate to 0.6.3. I found that 'check' wasn't visible so realized I had the wrong version
