intermittent issue with mapping stage

I see that not many people have posted here recently, but hoping somebody sees this that could offer some assistance.

I've been running metatrans successfully on a series of samples, though there are a select few that never seem to want to finish with the mapping stage. QC and rrnaremoval run fine all the time. There is nothing different between these samples and the rest, they just never seem to write the last bit of the mapping stage to the required output files. It errors saying "error code 1", and I guess it's referring to disk space. However I have at least 2 TB of space so I don't know why it is saying this.

Does anyone have any insight or suggestions? Any known issues with running the mapping with the M5NR database?
