I just finished listening to the audible version of the book and was totally blown away by the depth of the scholarship and the understanding that Mr. Lachman demonstrates as well as the conclusions he draws.

Just wondering...
1.  Have others read it and what might your thoughts and opinions be about Mr. Lachman's
'take'?
2   How might we see the vast range of ideas that Mr. Lachman covers in this book being related to the ideas being put forward in the objective idealism of Schopenhauer as well as Bernardo Kastrup?  I may have missed references but I don't think that either was mentioned in the book.

Finally, if you would like a fascinating read of something else offered up by Mr. Lachman, you can check this extensive entry on his blog...

And I believe there are some videos of his presentations related to this particular topic.  If ou check on the comments, you'll see that I have made some comments and also that Mr. Lachman pretty much predicted what has happened over the past few months in the good old US of A.

My memory isn't what it used to be, but when I read Gary Lachman's book, I had the impression it was good, but not quite in the same league as Kathleen Raine.
