I have two questions regarding the tree visualization options for StrainPhlAn. What is the required version of matplotlib to generate the graphlan tree (I am currently using v1.1.1)? I receive a few errors pertaining to matplotlib and the resulting .png file does not look like the tree in the tutorial.

Also, I wanted to confirm if the R libraries are included in the download/install of Breadcrumbs? (I tried to direct this question to the contact email on the Breadcrumbs page but the email was pushed back). When trying to use the ggtree script for the ggtree visualization for StrainPhlan I get an error saying there is no optparse library.

Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

My matplotlib version is 1.4.3.
Regarding the question on ggtree, Galeb and Lauren may have a better idea than me.

Thanks,
Tin
