where does metalink store the partial download file

Hi I am using metalink extension in google chrome,  where does metalink store the partial download file? I cannot find it in my download folder I set. 

Also, when metalink in chrome fails in downloading a file, will it keep the partial file or just delete it? I cannot find it.
