Hello community members,
I am a student of Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal India. I have sound programming skills in C/C++ and Qt development. Recently I have also contributed to projects making use of the KDE Desktop Environment and kdelibs. Since KGet belongs to one of the KDE applications, I would like to apply for the Google Summer of Code project of Metaliner.org namely Metalink/HTTP support in KGet. I would be thankful to you if you let me know if there is something important that I need to consider while applying for the task via melange.
