GSoC Project Metalink/HTTP support in KGet

Hello community members,

I am a student of Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Warangal India. I have sound programming skills in C/C++ and am experienced in Qt based application development. Recently I have also started to code on applications using the KDE desktop environment.

For this year's Google Summer of Code, I'd like work for Melatlink with the implementation of Metalink/HTTP Support in KGet. 
I hope to make use of my past experience with C/C++ and KDE development and make this project a great success. In case there is anything important about the implementation, I would be thankful to you if you could share it with me so that I can include it in my application which is shall submit via Melange.
