Introducing libmetalink (C parser) and aria2 0.14!

libmetalink is a Metalink library written in C language. It adds
Metalink functionality such as parsing Metalink XML files to programs
written in C. One of the first programs to use it is Libzypp, and it
is being worked on for Google Summer of Code.

aria2 0.14 is also out. It's a feature filled cross platform Metalink
downloader with a command line interface.

Appupdater 1.0.1, Metalink Checker 4.0, and Appupdater Podcast

With the 1.0 release, Appupdater has a nice graphical user interface
to go along with the command line. There's a new version of Metalink
Checker (Python), as well as a podcast interview with Neil McNab, the
author of Appuppdater and MC.

openSUSE 11.0 featuring more integrated Metalinks

openSUSE 11.0 is out and is very polished. Congratulations to all who
made it happen. If you're not using it, at least check out some
screenshots!

Thanks to Dr. Peter Poeml, the man behind the MirrorBrain which is
sending out Metalinks for all those ISOs.

As mentioned before, the Google Summer of Code project Libzypp

Poeml, is under way!
