The complete proceedings of the very successful ECAI WS on Meta-learning are available online at http://ceur-ws.org/Vol-1201/.
There are a number of interesting new developments, ideas, etc.
Also of note is the work of the AutoML group that significantly overlaps the work in meta-learning.
