Opening speech, Hindsight/Foresight symposium, thoughts on Craft now

Hi All,

In October the Canadian Craft Federation held a sypmposium at the National
Gallery on contemporary craft

enough to moderate the event.

They have just posted the audio(video) of my introduction which discusses
thoughts on recent developments in the craft sector and current issues in the
field. It is accompanied by images of my work, but it is the text that is of
interest. This is the first one up, and it will be followed soon by videos of
the panelists, Michale Fortune, Kye Yeon Son and Paul Mathieu.
