Hello community,
This is your notice that as of yesterday, the main branch of Metal3 no longer supports the dedicated iLO 4 drivers (ilo4 and ilo4-virtual-media), as well as the non-Redfish iLO 5 driver (ilo5). The Ironic community has to remove them because the vendor is no longer supporting the underlying proliantutils library, preferring to focus exclusively on Redfish-based solutions.
Users of iLO 4 will only be able to use the IPMI driver starting with BMO 0.12 and the next version of ironic-image.
Users of iLO 5 should use redfish or redfish-virtualmedia. The existing drivers ilo5-redfish and ilo5-virtualmedia are just different names for the Redfish drivers and should not be used any more.
Dmitry
