Hello.

I am attempting to copy the complete picture from a Metadraw control to the windows clipboard.
When I use this code:

tab_1.tabpage_structure.ole_structure.object.Current = 1

l_return = tab_1.tabpage_structure.ole_structure.object.CopyToClipboard(2, 3)

It succeeds, the return value is 2. However when I try to then CTRL V into a blank word document nothing is pasted.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do and have been hesitant to respond to this for that reason.  I'm not sure the Word can hold metafile information, and I could be entirely incorrect in that assumption.  Are you just wanting the *image* in Word, or are you wanting each separate element from metadraw put in Word so that you can further edit them?  If it's just the image, save the image as a .jpg (or whatever you prefer) and put that in Word.  You can even use the PrtScn button to copy your screen to the clipboard and paste that into Word.

If you're wanting to put the elements into Word, I have no idea how to do that, sorry.

James
