Hi, I already did my analysis using MGRAST tool.
I have a table with the relative abundance converted to log2 for my sample (3 replicates) at the phylum level. Is it possible to use this data to do the heat tree? I do not want to use my fasta files.
Can I generate a input file based on my excel table? Please see my file attached.

Thanks!

Hi Clarissa,

Yes, that can be used without much trouble, but with only domain and phylum, it might be a bit of a compact and unattractive tree. Can you get MGRAST to return any other ranks as well? Is this the standard output format of MGRAST?  Thanks,

-Zach
