Glad to note that mutkabodha texts are now available for mass download under creative commons license:

Dear list members,
Effective immediately, each text in the Muktabodha Digital Library etext
collection is covered by Creative Commons license BY-NC 4.0.
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/

This license supersedes the copyright statement that appears at the
beginning of each text in the searchable library, and we are in the process
of replacing the outdated statements.

The copyright statements at the beginning of each etext in the cumulative
download are correct.

Thank you,
Harry Spier

Further history -

In 2021, there was a takedown request to which I'd responded (following a ruckus the sanskritdocuments gentleman raised) -

"I only complied with misgivings about being misled about copyright claims and about the appropriateness of increasing obstacles to scholarship for no visible belefit in terms of money or glory to your organization (quite the contrary).

You should seriously consider updating your practices to current technological and legal standards - Look at the Sarit Indological corpus of texts - https://sarit.indology.info/ . A golden example : They have a github repository ( https://github.com/sarit/SARIT-corpus/ ) that any one can download on to their computer or clone. Further, all their files are available under the https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/ license. They only evoke admiration.

Please take my suggestion into consideration - for the good of your own organization as well as less inconvenience to those you seek to benefit."

namaste marjorie,

We will certainly not distribute your pdf-s without your permission. Just to remove misunderstandings, my main request was for the catalog, and not the pdf-s.

The posting you refer to was addressed to you (and not to unspecified people), and copied to sanskrit-programmers mailing list so as to keep collaborators in the loop. The posting you refer to is an email stored in several hundred mailboxes, and as such it does not do much good to delete it post-hoc. Besides, it will be confusing and non-forthright. What I will instead do is note your response so as to forewarn others.

Given the above, can you now address the problem I mentioned below?

Dear Vishvas,
Thank you for your e-mail.

We have noted that you are asking people to provide you with  a dump of the Muktabodha digital library so you can re-distribute it to others.   Muktabodha does not agree to this and we ask that you do not attempt to do this. Please remove your posting.

Thank you,
Marjorie Woollacott, PhD

Hello!

Could you please provide a dump of the muktabodha database http://muktalib7.org/IFP_ROOT/access_page.htm (the catalog in any suitable format, and preferably also the associated pdf-s) so that we may freely redistribute it with acknowledgement so as to let more people ( who are likely to be unaware of this resource) search and access it through our many projects such as https://github.com/sanskrit-coders/stardict-sanskrit ?
