Freescale Community BSP 1.2-rc1 release

Hello,

We are pleased to announce the first release candidate of Freescale
Community BSP 1.2. This release is based on Denzil version of Yocto.

It can seem strange we’re releasing a version based on Denzil but this
was the base system we used for the stabilization work and until we
release the Danny based version it is the most adequate version.

We expect to receive bug reports or comments until November 2nd, when
we plan to release the stable version. In this case please, submit it

Another important news is that now meta-fsl-arm is available on Yocto
GIT server (http://git.yoctoproject.org/cgit/cgit.cgi/meta-fsl-arm)
and this is going to be the main repository. However we got in touch
with github and they gently made our github repository as a mirror of
the new repository so it should work transparently for all users.

We’re now moving the development for the Danny version which will be
released as 1.3 and we intend to have done by the end of November of
2012.

We’d like to thank for everyone who participate in the development of
this release.
