NRU U19 SELECT SIDE TRYOUTS

WHAT: Open tryouts for NRU female players age 19 and under to play select side 
rugby in a National U19 All-Star tournament on November 19 and 20, 2011. 

WHERE/WHEN:

Dartmouth College on Sunday, September 18, 9am-3pm

Albany NY on Sunday September 25,  9am-3pm

***players must make at least one camp to be eligible. Birthdate cutoff is born ON or AFTER August 31, 1991.

WHO/WHY: Players interested in playing at a higher level of rugby in a National 
Tournament format. There will be coaches from the U20 USA RUGBY NATIONAL TEAM at 
the tryouts and at the tournament venue. 

LEVEL OF COMMITMENT: If chosen for the NRU U19 team, players must be available 
for at least 2 training sessions and up to 2 matches before the TOURNAMENT 
NOVEMBER 19 and 20.  At this time we are trying to secure funding and 
sponsorship for players but players must be able to provide their own 
transportation to and from practices, games and the tournament.
