We are setting up a day of Fall MetNY GU19 Sevens Rugby.
Saturday November 5th
11am - ???
Randalls Island
Teams are invited to shake off the cobwebs and get some fall rugby time in ...
No fees, no hassles, no trophies - just girls hitting, running and rucking.
The plan: Get 4-5 GU19 teams to come to Randalls and play a round robin format of 7's rugby for a few
hours.
Coaches - if you are interested, send me an email asap
Players - get your coaches (and team mates) interested
We will take full teams, partial teams, and individual players - all are welcome and all will play

Our unofficial GU19 7s Tournament is a go !!!
Final details:
Next Saturday November 5th
Arrive at 11am
Games from Noon to 4pm
Randalls Island Fields 50 & 51 (grass fields by the water tower)
We have four teams, but more teams and individual players are welcome - just let me know
Answers to some questions I have been asked:
- We will accept teams as late entries
- individual players are welcome to come alone, we will find a team for you
- coaches are welcome to come help
- there is no cost - just bring food and water
- you can still play if you have already turned 19
- you don't need to have played for the METNY select side to attend
(although the MetNY GU19 Selects are entering a team in the NY 7s in 3 weeks)
- it is for all interested players, not just select players

You know you miss playing rugby - here is your chance.

Due to some injuries and some players backing out, WE ARE
SHORT PLAYERS AND NEED A FEW MORE PLAYERS TO COME PLAY FOR THE METNY TEAM
- Individual players are welcome to come alone, we will
find a team for you
- there is no cost - just bring food and water
- you can still play if you have already turned 19
- it is for all interested players, not just select players
- wear navy socks and shorts (or the closest thing you
have)

Take the M35 bus from the NorthWest corner of 125th Street
and Lexington Avenue. Give yourself at least 40 minutes from this bus
