Dear
Sr
Salvador J. Pagan,
I'm writing on behalf of Kaitaan koulu middle school in the capital region in Southern Finland. Our pupils are on grades 7-9 and are in the age range of 13-15 years. Our school has weighted-curriculum education on visual arts which means that a class on every grade is reserved for pupils of that particular weighted subject.
Kaitaan koulu has been a part of UNESCO Associated Schools network since 1984. We are now looking for a new friendship school with which we could plan new projects together and give our pupils a chance to peek into the lives of teenagers in another European country. We are hoping for a friendship that develops and lasts a long time. Naturally we are looking for a school with pupils around the same age range as ours.
I searched and found a list of Spanish UNESCO schools online, but instead of just blindly aiming a load of emails at them I thought it might be a good idea to check with You first. Maybe You already know a school that might be looking for new friendships abroad and a school like ours? I'd be very thankful for all the advice you could provide on how to proceed in this matter.
Looking forward to your reply.
Sincerely Yours,
Ms Johanna Nygård
