after a stressing profect we finally got a trip to relax, and my boss took us to Halong Bay. A cruise must be the best way to enjoy this attraction, and we choose Capella thanks to the consultance of Ly our travel expert. and the cruise trip didn't let me down for a second! The cruise was charming, the design made every corner be an instagramable spot. I can't say anything but I'm really happy with the service. Some of the dishes may not be exactly what we expected because they provide many different types of meals from all over the world, particularly western food. Nonetheless, the service and activity are both 100! Amazing good job (Mai taught us this haha)
Great staff and love the breathtaking splendor of Ha Long Bay!We went on hot days so the lack of drinking water on board was a concern, and there is the phone service or wifi was kinda weak at some point, which is OK but was can be improved.However, it's a fantastic way to spend a few days sailing through the magnificent surroundings of Ha Long Bay!Quan deserves special recognition for going above and beyond for our family group!Excellent personnel!
First and first, I'd want to mention the vessel itself - very contemporary, fresh interior, very nice to be in... you could say the ship is extremely in tune with the surrounding scenery, which is, by the way, wonderful.Particular thanks to the personnel, who were extremely courteous, honest, and pleasant in their interactions.The cuisine is delicious. There are additional activities like as kayaking, swimming in the pool, and spring rolls master class!It was a pleasure to spend time on the boat, and the sentiments lingered for the rest of my life. I strongly suggest it!
The cruise experience was fantastic. All of the amenities on board were rather well maintained, but you can tell that the passenger turn-around on board is frequent since the rooms aren't as clean as you'd expect from a five-star hotel. The cuisine was excellent at all meals, with the exception of the evening, which was served buffet style (I personally don't prefer buffet BCS the quality can't be guaranteed). If you're a drinker, bring some of your own beer/wine/liquor with you because it's considerably cheaper than buying it on the ship. The staff was really warm and helpful, making the stay enjoyable.
The boat is quite new and modern - they have nice-sized rooms and private balconies. Amenities were working fine and some of the staff - especially those in the dining section were extremely courteous and helpful. Chris was so helpful and talk to us a lot of fun stories about Halong Bay.However, the early morning breakfast before the excursion to the cave, way too early at 6:30 am and we were so sleepy.
I dont know if the cruise changes the dish of the class each itinerary/each day, but when I came aboard, it should be called a cooking demonstration (not a class)- an hour to explain how to roll a spring roll. Not much more than that, but it can be great activity for children.Anyway, the rest is totally fine, it's exactly like what the internet said about the facilities, services,... so I still recommend this cruise.
loved our stay, everything about the trip was amazing. We are both vegetarians, and they made every effort to accommodate us. The personnel were wonderful. The activities were fantastic, and they were the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. We are quite happy that we payed for the sky suite. A small minus is that the wifi connection was not stable.

Excellent experience. The facilities were both vast and clean. The food was excellent. The simple things made a great impact, such as superb scheduling, we never had to wait too long for the next events. Btw I would recommend staying for two nights.
The ship's facilities and employees were excellent. Tom, Chris, and Lynn, in particular, were really kind and amusing.However, when I visited Cat Ba island, there wasn't much to see because the island is still in the early phases of tourism development.
The cleanliness was excellent (our biggest concern of going on a cruise). The food was delicious. The activity was fantastic (apparently Capella is the only one with water slides). There are no food available for purchase onboard. Bring your own or buy them early from the merchant who will be rowing in a boat during the day.
