Sat Nam, dear reader,

This is the fifth in a series of six weekly posts about the path of spiritual and political engagement in the light of our current crisis of climate change. 

Today's broadcast draws attention to the gap between the American dream and the dream that big corporations and unresponsive governments allow us to live.  Beginning with some significant words from Yogi Bhajan, most of this post consists of a number of quality of life comparisons, comparing the situation here in North America with situations around the world.  The purpose of this exercise is not to make us ashamed or angry, but to help us better recognize the shortfalls here at home so we can actively address them today and tomorrow.  I hope you find today's read thought-provoking and inspiring.  It is here.
