The tree import window does not open

In this new version, when opening a matrix in nexus format and requesting the addition of a tree, the program does not open the tree import window (regardless of the nwk, .tre or .nexus format of the tree)

Hi Eric,  

Can you specify the exact steps you took in trying to import the tree?  You had the file containing a matrix open in Mesquite, and then you did what exactly?  And, also, is this version 4.0 or 4.01?

That little "Add..." option is one that we just forgot about.  It's not the standard way we think of including trees, but we do need to fix that!  Thank you for pointing that out!

Until we fix that, I suggest you use File > Include & Merge > Include Trees
